Malayalam film Meesha Madhavan was directed again by lal jose telling the love story of a thief and girl. The song 'ente ellamellam alle' in which kavya and dileep acted together was a big hit. Vellaripravinte changathi last time Dileep and Kavya came together and it was another hit directed by Akku Akabar. Actor Dileep got Kerala state government award for best actor for the first time.
